Terms of Service
Version 2026-11-01 · Effective 1 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TTM Publishing ("we", "us"), the service at ttm-publishing.vercel.app operated by the owner of tatmonkey.com. By creating an account, buying credits, using AI features or ordering prints, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Credits & Refunds rules. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Who can use TTM Publishing
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password private. Tell us at support@tatmonkey.com if you think someone else has used it.
- One person per account. Accounts and credits can't be sold, shared or transferred.
2. What the service does
TTM Publishing helps you plan, write, illustrate and lay out books (newsletters, novellas, course books, coloring books, comics, art books and photo books) using third-party AI models, and produces files you can download, upload to retailers such as Amazon KDP, or order as printed copies through our print partner.
- AI output can be wrong, repetitive, unexpected or similar to other content. Review everything before you publish or print it.
- Exported files are built to retailer specifications as we understand them, but we don't guarantee that Amazon KDP or any other retailer will accept, approve, rank or sell your book. Retailers set and change their own rules.
- We may change, add or remove features, AI models and formats. We'll try to give notice of significant changes.
3. Credits, prices and payments
- AI work is paid for with credits bought in packs. Before each paid step, the app shows its price in credits; that quoted price is what you are charged if the step succeeds. Redraws and extra attempts you request are separate steps with their own price.
- Printed copies are priced per order (printing, shipping, tax and our service fee), shown before you pay.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Credit and refund details, including what happens if a step fails, are in Credits & Refunds.
4. Your content and ownership
- You keep ownership of what you upload (manuscripts, photos, artwork) and, as between you and us, of the books you create with the service, to the extent the law allows. Copyright protection for AI-generated material varies by country and may be limited.
- You give us a limited permission to store, process and display your content only to run the service for you: generating, laying out and exporting your books, sending files to our AI and print providers, and keeping backups. We don't use your books to advertise or train our own models.
- Our AI providers process your prompts and content under their own terms; see the Privacy Policy for who they are.
5. Your responsibilities for uploads and published books
You promise that:
- You own, or have permission to use, everything you upload, including photos of other people (you need their consent) and any characters, artwork, text, brands or trademarks.
- You won't use the service to copy or imitate another creator's protected work, or to make books that infringe anyone's rights.
- You'll follow each retailer's rules when you publish, including disclosing AI-generated text and images where required (the app gives you the answers for Amazon KDP).
- You're responsible for your book's content, its listing and any claims made about it once you publish or distribute it.
6. Content you may not create
Don't use TTM Publishing to create, upload or request:
- sexual content involving minors, or any sexualised depiction of a child (we report this to the authorities);
- sexually explicit material, content that harasses, threatens, defames or doxxes a real person, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
- content promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm, or hatred against people based on protected characteristics;
- instructions for weapons, dangerous substances, malware or other serious harm;
- deceptive material such as fake reviews, impersonation of real people or organisations, or misleading medical, legal or financial claims;
- anything illegal where you live or where you publish.
The AI providers may also refuse requests under their own policies. We can remove content, refuse print orders and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. Fair use of the service
- Don't attempt to access other customers' data, bypass price quotes or limits, overload the service, scrape it, or resell access to it.
- Accounts have usage limits (for example, how many paid steps can start per hour or day) to keep the service reliable and protect against abuse.
- If a payment is refunded or disputed, the related credits are removed or held and the account may be paused until it's resolved (see Credits & Refunds).
8. Suspension and closing your account
- You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account and books by emailing support@tatmonkey.com from your account's email address. Download any files you want to keep first.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud, or puts other customers or the service at risk. Where reasonable, we'll explain why and give you a chance to download your files.
- Unused credits on an account closed for breaking these terms may be forfeited, except where the law requires otherwise.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate, original or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost sales, lost profits, rejected retailer submissions or lost data), and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence.
11. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you uploaded or published, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, the app will ask you to accept the new version before your next purchase or paid step. The version date is at the top of this page.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem informally. If we can't, disputes will be handled in the courts of California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
