Privacy Policy
Version 2026-11-01 · Effective 1 November 2026
This policy explains what TTM Publishing ("we", "us") collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Contact: support@tatmonkey.com.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address, an encrypted password (handled by our sign-in provider; we never see it in plain text) and when you accepted our policies.
- Your books: ideas, settings, outlines, text, uploaded manuscripts and pictures, AI-generated text and images, and exported files.
- Credits and orders: credit balance and history, purchase records (amount, pack, date and Stripe payment references), print orders, and the shipping name, address, phone and email you give for a print order.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount and a payment reference, but not your full card number.
- Usage and errors: pages viewed (path only), referring website, device type (phone, tablet or desktop), country, and a visitor code that changes every day. We don't store IP addresses for analytics and don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We also record technical errors so we can fix them; emails and keys are removed from error logs.
2. Why we use it
- To run the service: sign you in, build and export your books, run AI steps you ask for, take payments and fulfil print orders.
- To keep it safe and reliable: prevent fraud and abuse, enforce usage limits, handle refunds and disputes, and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account: confirmation and password-reset emails, order updates and replies to support requests. We don't send marketing email without your permission.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your books to train our own AI models.
3. Who we share it with
We use these service providers, only for the purposes above:
| Provider | What for | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Sign-in, database and private file storage | Account, books, files, orders |
| Vercel | Hosting the website and server | Requests as they pass through |
| Stripe | Payments, refunds and disputes | Payment details you enter at checkout, email, amount |
| OpenAI, Anthropic, Google | AI writing (the model you choose) | Prompts, outlines and source text for the step |
| fal.ai | AI pictures | Picture prompts and any reference pictures you attach |
| Lulu | Printing and shipping copies | Print files, shipping name, address, phone, email |
| Resend | Account emails | Your email address and the message |
AI providers process your content under their own terms and may keep it for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business (with notice to you).
4. How long we keep it
- Your books and files: while your account is open, until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.
- Purchase, refund and order records: as long as needed for tax and accounting (typically up to 7 years), even after the account is deleted.
- Analytics and error logs: up to 12 months.
5. Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your books in the app, and delete exports you no longer need.
- You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and books by emailing support@tatmonkey.com from your account's email address. We'll confirm the request and complete it within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law.
- California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete and correct personal information and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. Residents of other places (such as the EU/UK) may have similar rights; contact us to use them.
6. Security
Each customer's books and files are private to their account, enforced in the database and storage. Connections are encrypted, payment details stay with Stripe, and access to our admin tools is limited to the owner. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
7. Children
TTM Publishing is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
8. Changes
If we make significant changes, we'll ask you to review and accept the updated policy in the app. The version date is at the top.
